Every week I shift into balanced vibration and choose three cards that can provide guidance and hints for the upcoming week.
You are welcome to pick one, two or all three cards in your mind prior to reading the messages.
As you do this, clear your mind of expectations and allow your higher self to guide this experience.
The purpose of Angel Card readings is to stimulate thoughts, awaken new understanding and to help you choose your direction. While we always have creative power in our experiences, the introduction of concepts can clarify our intentions. While each of us will create our own interpretations of the message, I have included both Doreen Virtue’s and my own impressions about what the card means.
Doreen: Think about what you want, not what you don’t want. Guard your thoughts carefully because they create your experiences.
Glenn: Have you ever procrastinated a task? Sometimes something needs to get done, and you talk about it and think about it for an extended period. Finally you actually take action and focus on the task at hand, and then it is done. Somehow the energy to complete a task is often far less than the energy you spent getting started. When you focus on creation it happens. So remain aware that when you let your focus slip into what you don’t want, you are also creating that. Pay attention to where your focus goes this week, and continually shift into get-it-done mode. You will be pleased with the results.
Doreen: You are engaged in learning and study right now. Your angels guide you to take time to read, listen and grow.
Glenn: The world is full of wonders. There is more information available than you will ever be able to digest in a lifetime, and the amount of information increases each day. CHOOSE where you want to focus your learning and begin to absorb what is out there. Follow your excitement and make a point of learning something new every day. As your knowledge accumulates, new doors will continually open.
Surrender & Release
Doreen: Let go, and allow God and the Angels to help you. Everything that you release will either be replaced by something better or will be returned to you healed.
Glenn: We are not in control of everything. However we are in control of the level of attachment that we provide to any element in our lives. Sometimes we must step back and allow things to fall into place. When you state a desire to the universe and take the steps available, you must then shift your focus away from your desires. Like the old adage ‘a watched pot never boils’, the act of manifestation can be accelerate by stepping back. When you know you have done all the right things yet have not seen results, shift your thoughts to something else. Otherwise you can begin to manifest ‘waiting’ rather than ‘having’.
On the old Ed Sullivan Show, there was a man who would take a plate and start it spinning on the end of a stick. Once that plate was spinning well, he would move on to the next stick and start another plate spinning. Soon there were six plates on six sticks, each spinning with balance. As one plate began to wobble he would pay attention to that plate and fix it. His task continued as he allowed the plates to spin and only stepped in to correct when it was necessary. This week, realize that you have many plates to spin. Add your efforts where they are required, and step back to watch when it is appropriate.
