Creating a Peaceful Revolution: Changing the World with Peace and Love

When we look at the occurrences of the world, certain feelings are escalated. We feel anger when people are killed. We feel hopeless when we witness people acting with anger. We feel anxiety when we realize how much has to change.

We are also blessed by the wisdom of many who have continually tried to show us the way to higher vibration. It is possible to create a world of peace and harmony. It is possible for all men and women to be treated as equals. It is possible for every living soul to thrive, living in peace, love, joy and prosperity.

Much of the requirements for creating heaven on earth fall upon each individual. YOU are responsible for your own experiences. YOU decide how to react to external stimuli. YOU choose how you feel each day. YOU take steps to consciously evolve, thereby creating revolution through evolution.

However, looking at the bigger picture also reveals that the whole of humanity must change. It is not good enough for everyone to learn how to suffer in silence. Too many people are under nourished. Too many struggle financially. Too many people are oppressed by violence, economic slavery and cultural domination. If we want the world to change, we must stand together and make it change. Not just for the good of ourselves, but for the good of all.

Just over one hundred years ago, an Indian lawyer in South Africa revealed a strategy that would overcome the prejudicial treatment of his fellow men in that country. Thirty years later, the little brown man in a loin cloth showed the power of non-violence as he led India to freedom from British overlords. This brilliant clip from the movie Gandhi explains the basis of his plan.

In the 1960’s, a Negro preacher focused his anger about prejudice and injustice into a path of higher vibration. We all benefit by listening to these wise words from Martin Luther King Jr. “The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy.”

Once he became rich and famous, John Lennon realized that there was more for him to do. From that point he began to focus his efforts on stimulating peace in the world. “All we have to do is awaken the power in the people.” Read more at John Lennon: Lightworker

Changing the world through peaceful means is not easy. All three of these visionaries were killed by men with guns. However, as humanity evolves and billions take a solemn oath to stand with both stubbornness and love, insisting that we make the world a better place for all, it will be so.

The world can be changed and it begins with you.
